This kit has a lot of great little tools to open case backs, regulate movement timing, tiny screwdrivers, adjust band links, change watch batteries, etc.I did need to get a watch press to replace a bezel and crystal. I also needed to get one of those sticky rubber balls to open a difficult case back (works better than a set of bezel dies!). I also needed a better holder to hold my Incipio Explorer to get the case off. None of these were things I expected to get in this case, just things I got because I wanted to work on my watches even more.It was worth the price I gave an Invicta case with similar tools but not all the tools this case has. Too a little while to see which tools worked to remove the back off one of my watches but I figured it out a d bam it was off. Great kit to have to save money going in to get a battery out in.This is my second watch repair kit. I bought a cheaper one with fewer tools in it over 10 years ago for about $10. It was sufficient for my needs back then and I probably adjusted over 100 watch bands and changed several batteries with it. Having owned that one, I knew what I wanted in my next kit. Here are the reasons why I got this kit over the many variations of other kits out there.1. Large, 3-pin notched screw-on back case opener. This is the largest tool in the kit. There are likely 3 types of case backs you'll likely encounter when changing batteries: snap-on backs, notched screw-on backs and backs with small screws. This tool opens only one of those types. My previous tool kit only came with the 2-pin opener. While it would still work, 3-pin openers are a lot more secure and less likely to slip. Slipping could mean scratching up the case of your watch. So, when buying a second kit, I knew I wanted a 3-pin opener. Many kits have a 3-pin opener and if you're not careful, you'll miss the fact that they come in different sizes. Some 3-pin openers are much smaller, unable to accommodate the large cases of some men's watches. This kit includes a large, 3-pin opener.2. Watch holderThis kit comes with a watch holder to keep the good grip on the case. My older kit didn't have one. It makes a screw-on case back and snap-on case back much easier to open when you have one.3. Watch band link adjuster with replacement pinsAlmost all of these kits will come with an watch band link remover. Not all of them will come with replacement pins for that adjuster tool. Eventually, you'll alignment will be off and that pin will break. You want spare pins in your kit.4. Snap-on prying toolInterestingly, this case comes with two types of tools used to remove the snap-on case back. The red tool that looks like a small knife and the yellow one. My old kit only had the red type. It works, but it doesn't get into the tight situations as well as the yellow type. With one of my watches, there was no lip on the case back for the tool to easily catch on. The red tool couldn't cut it, but the yellow one handled it with ease.5. A nice case for it allYou'll want the case to keep your tools organized. My last kit just came in a clamshell packaging without a case. The tools are difficult to keep organized. This makes life so much easier as you knew exactly where you put each tool. Plus, when you inevitably buy more watch batteries than you currently need, you can just keep them in the case. All the other tools typically come standard in even the cheapest watch kits (hammer, hammer block, spring pin tool, tweezers. The tweezers here are actually very good quality and come to a very sharp tip. That's great when working in the precision environment inside a watch. Some other kits come with other additional tools that is not included here (needle-nose pliers, blowing bulb). I don't consider them essential, although they can be helpful. I happen to already have those tools for other reasons. One essential tool that is NOT part of this kit (or many other kits) is a nylon press-fit tool to secure those snap-on case backs once you've popped them off. I have this tool already, but if you don't have it, get it. After you pop the case off of those snap-on case backs, they can be very difficult to place back on. Doing so incorrectly risks scratching or cracking the crystal/glass on the watch (learned that from experience). Those press tool helps snap the case back on with enough force and safely. All the components in this kit are of very decent quality. If my older, cheaper one can last me over 10 years, I'm certain this can last me at least another 10 years. Since having owned this, I already replaced the batteries on 3 watches (Coach, Swarovski and Gucci, all snap-on backs) and made an adjustment to an automatic watch after removing the notched screw-on back with this kit, easily paying itself off.The tools are packaged well in the carrying case and it's a good selection of tools. Used them to change two batteries and watch straps the first day, easy to use. For me, this is a great value and helpfulI had several batteries to change on some watch's. This compact bag had everything I needed to fix watch's to reduce links on a new watch and replace old batteries of a few other watch's. Made things so much easier. Highly recommend buying!Has everything an amateur needs to size a bracelet or change a battery. Tools seem to be decent enough quality. Good value for the money.Using this item save a lot of money & time going to watch repair shop, easy to use. Complete toolsThe tool kit is everything you need to work on watches at home, replace batteries, replace straps, etc. but the spring bars are not good.Watch repair kit,.many items,in a case,.only £10,.already used most of kiton few watches,GOOD.I wanted- an adjustablewatch case screw backremoval tool£8- a watch bracelet linkremoval tool-£3.Total £11*minimum.I got lots of other stuffincludinga push on prise offwatch backremoval tool&a sprung watch bracelet pinremoval tool. All neatly packed ina zipped case. For *£10..I could have paid £15for similar/samebut in a black/blue/brown case...But this case was bright pink..(I deal if I ever bump intoLady Penelopeand she needs helpadjusting her expensive new watch..).I don't mind the pink..I haven't got any pink watches..so a small watch/bracelet parts removedwill be easilier to spotamongst all thematching pink tools...I am very pleasedwith thiswatch repair kit..I essentially purchased this kit because I was fed up of going to shops being ripped off for small repairs on watches and simply to change the batteries. I have used the tools on three occasions and does the job. As the item was coming from the US I was convinced it was manufactured there and I was puzzled when it arrived that I could not find anywhere the usual writing "Made in...." which annoyed me slightly. After researching on the Net I found that Amazon buys it from China. I am extremely disappointed, I try as much as I possibly can to avoid buying anything from that country as you just don't know what quality you are going to get. I will know better next time.Everything you could need and more, managed to fix 3 watches I've never been able to wear due to straps being too big!!! Did bend a pin on the link remover thingymabob but to my delight there are replacement pins in the box!!! And it comes in pink I mean cooooomeONNn love it!!!!Quality is not the best but still does the job, if you change one watch battery it pays for itself, so all in all it's worth every pennyJust got this today to replace a metal watch strap. 2 of the tools have snapped straight away. Such poor quality. Returning straight back. Save your money and get a better set.
